Over two and a half decades, 10,979 events and 1,037,053 avid golfers, have teed it up at their local clubs across the country under the banners of Holden and the PGA of Australia.
The car manufacturer and the PGA of Australia are currently enjoying their 26th year of partnership with Australia’s largest amateur team’s event, one of the longest partnerships in golf in Australia.

In 2016, the Holden Scramble chalked up their one millionth ‘Scrambler’, a testament to the events popularity, growing year after year thanks to the hard work from host clubs and local dealerships.
Over 110 Holden Dealerships support their local Scramble events annually, building a strong sense of community amongst golfers, their club, dealerships and the sport as a whole.
Reaching all corners of the country, from Broome to Norfolk Island, there isn’t a region in Australia that doesn’t host a Scramble event.
Golf clubs and local dealerships work hand in hand to make sure each Holden Scramble is a hotly anticipated event on every club’s calendar.
Amateur golfers of all skill level play for the opportunity to win a spot in the national Championship Final to be held at Novotel Twin Waters Resort & Twin Waters Golf Club on the naturally refreshing Sunshine Coast alongside a PGA Professional.
The Scramble officially teamed up with Holden in 1992 and revolutionised amateur golf in the country with many events modelled off the successful format.
Since then, the Holden Scramble has grown with the game to include mixed and in 2005 introduced women’s teams events. The format has continued to evolve and stay fresh to keep existing Scramblers, as well as attracting hundreds more each year.
