Have you already played in the Volkswagen Scramble at your club this season?  Did you miss the chance to qualify for the Regional Finals?  Open events on the Volkswagen Scramble schedule provide golfers a second (or third or fourth) chance to qualify for the Regional Finals and ultimately the Championship Final on the Sunshine Coast.

Headlining the upcoming open events is the PGA’s own Mixed Open event that will be played at the home of the PGA of Australia, Sandhurst Club in Melbourne’s south east.

Entries are open to anybody with a GA handicap and players will be treated to a round of golf in motorised carts, lunch after the round but also the chance to preview some of the latest equipment from Volkswagen Scramble partner Callaway.

“We know that golfers right across Australia love playing in the Volkswagen Scramble for the chance to make it to the Championship Final on the Sunshine Coast.” said Heath McLeod, National Events Manager at the PGA.

“The open events on the schedule provide those golfers who missed out early in the season a second chance to qualify for the Regional Finals this March” added McLeod.

This season Regional Finalists will receive an Adidas polo shirt, tee gifts, the chance to compete for over $2,000 worth of prizes from Callaway and also the chance to win their way to the much sort after Championship Final on the Sunshine Coast in May.  Regional finalists also get the opportunity to play with a PGA Professional and a round of golf at a premium course including lunch after the round.
