The Karratha Holden Scramble was held on the 19th July with a record 20 teams competing. The past 2 years has seen the same team victorious, so this year there was a competitive edge to bump off the champs. Karratha Automotive Group are the local Holden Dealer and jumped at the opportunity to dress the club up for the occasion. They parked a couple of fine samples in the beer garden which impressed all the tyre kickers, and the 2 Colorados that were to go onto 2 prominent tee boxes were sold before they got there. Congratulations to Matt, Marc, Chris and Grant, Karratha’s new champs who will head to Perth for the Regional Finals.

On the following day, almost 5,000 kilometres away, Devonport Golf Club held their Holden Scramble event. The team of A. Howdry, J. Cirkel, C. Savage and P Pattinson combined for an impressive Gross score of 61 and a Nett of 54.5 to progress to their Regional Final at Ulverstone.
