The Holden Scramble Championship Final will once again return to the beautiful Twin Waters Golf Club and Novotel Twin Waters Resort, on the Sunshine Coast from 27 – 30 November 2015.
30 teams qualifying through the Regional Finals will represent their Holden Scramble Golf Clubs and be accompanied by their local PGA Professional and battle it out at the Championship Final!
Now in its 24th year, the Championship Final delivers all the atmosphere and competitiveness of a professional tournament along with a terrific line-up of social functions to attend. From the Welcome Dinner under the stars to the Theme Night and Gala Presentation dinner, the Holden Scramble participants at the Final are provided with the chance to take home much more than the title of Holden Scramble Champion.
Another unique feature of the Championship Final is the opportunity for teams to participate in the final round with a PGA Touring Professional, which in the past has included current PGA Tour Member, Cameron Percy to Web.com Member, Ashley Hall.
In 2014, Stephan Morgan and three of his team mates took out the Championship Final title representing Palm Meadows Golf Club following a strong performance across all stages of the event.
“Entering the Holden Scramble for the first time in 2014, and being fortunate enough to make it to the Championship Final, was one of the best experiences in golf that I have ever had. The final was everything that I had been told about and then some!” says Morgan upon reflection of his team’s achievement.
“The PGA put on an event like no other, and the atmosphere from all competitors was electric! I could not recommend it enough to anyone looking to get involved and have some real fun!”
Having a team strategy is the key to success for the Holden Scramble, and Steve’s final piece of advice for any Holden Scramble hopefuls was to just have fun!
“We were just four mates that play golf together and enjoy the game at every level, but none more so than just being out on course with your mates hitting that small round ball in a Holden Scramble.”
There is still time for you and your team to qualify to the Regional Final where the winning team from each event will advance to the Championship Final. Get your three team mates together today and find a Holden Scramble event near you!
