As the 2014 Holden Scramble is nearing its climax, this is your final chance to play in Australia’s largest participated golf event! With over 470 local events held around the country this year, there is sure to be an event near you coming up!
The winning team of 4 amateurs from each of the local Ambrose events will progress to the Regional Finals throughout October at premier courses in each state. At the Regional Final event, teams on the day will be playing with the PGA Club Professional from their home club. From here, winners from this stage progress to the Championship Final, which is held at the fantastic Twin Waters Golf Club on Queenslands Sunshine Coast.
The Championship Final is a golfing extravaganza, inluding 4 days of golf at one of Australia’s finest resort golf courses and social activites each night, including a Welcome Dinner, a Theme Dinner and a Gala Presentation Dinner. The Championship Final is held in a 54 hole format, after 36 holes the leading half of the field team up again with a Tour Professional to play the last 18 holes as a team of 6 to see who is crowned the 2014 Holden Scramble Champions.
The overall winning team of the Championship final will join PGA professionals from around the country to represent Australia at the Champions Tour event, a competition against a representative team from China in a 2 round ‘home and away’ format.
