Riding his hot form from the 2015 PGA Tour of Australasia season, Millar was able to pull together his game again, recording a three stroke victory over strong competition at the Remeura Golf Club in Auckland.
As well as winning golf tournaments, Millar also plies his trade as a Teaching Professional at the Gold Creek Country Club in Australia’s Capital Territory. Millar has helped to grow the Holden Scramble, resulting in two large events last season at the ACT course.
Millar was joined on the leaderboard by Holden Scramble Championship Final competitor Josh Geary, and Holden Young Lion Geoff Drakeford, who shared second place.
It may be a coincidence, but all of those who are involved with the Holden Scramble fared well at the Holden NZ PGA Championship.
