Penrith Volkswagen and Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club have teamed up to deliver a successful Volkswagen Scramble event for golfers around the region.

The dealership has joined the golf club as part of Volkswagen’s Premier Partnership with the PGA of Australia and is just one example of Volkswagen dealers across the country joining their local golf clubs to give back to the community through the Volkswagen Scramble.

Gareth Jeal, Director of Golf at Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club, said the support from the team at Penrith Volkswagen has been nothing short of outstanding as they provided product and funding for their Volkswagen Scramble event.

Jeal expressed his gratitude to Penrith Volkswagen following the success of the day.

“We received great sponsorship from Penrith Volkswagen; they provided cars and banners for on course which helped give the day a bit of an atmosphere,” said Jeal.

“We’re looking forward to continued support from Penrith Volkswagen and the event improving next year.”

Wallacia golfers Lee Grigg, Craig Mylchreest, Shane Taivairange and Warren Hutt are one step closer to the Volkswagen Scramble Championship Final after they emerged victorious in Sydney’s west.

Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club, home of the NSW Open, held their Volkswagen Scramble earlier this month with fantastic support from Penrith Volkswagen.

The visitors from Wallacia were narrow victors with a net score of 55.6, the second placed team just shy on 55.7.

“The guys had a great round, they recorded an eagle on the 8th, which is the hardest hole on the course here so it was good to see that impressive hole get them over the line,” said Jeal.

“We had a lucky door prize for the rest of the field which was a Twin Creeks pin flag signed by European Tour professional and 2017 NSW Open champion, Jason Scrivener which was very well received by the lucky team.”
